Overview

Senior Project Manager Construction role at TieTalent. The post holder will lead and manage the delivery of new build, redevelopment and refurbishment projects, managing consultant teams and internal and external stakeholders to ensure the University’s property portfolio is delivered in accordance with the Masterplan and meets the university's strategic objectives to enhance the student experience and maintain recruitment and retention.

The post holder will work with others to manage relationships with stakeholders, neighbours and end users, from inception to completion, taking responsibility for brief development, design, procurement, mobilisation, construction and handover into occupation; to agreed specifications, achieving time, cost and quality. Communication with stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally, is paramount to successful delivery of schemes.

Hybrid working is available; some in- Portsmouth days are required.

Interviews are anticipated to be held on 03 October 2025.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage delivery of new build, redevelopment and refurbishment projects.
  • Coordinate consultant teams, internal and external stakeholders from inception to handover.
  • Develop briefs, manage design, procurement, mobilisation, construction and occupation handover.
  • Ensure schemes meet time, cost, quality specifications and align with the Masterplan.
  • Communicate with stakeholders at all levels to enable successful delivery.
