The Company
This boutique feel agency, are a fast-growing creative events agency. They plan and deliver an array of events for their established portfolio of clients, ranging from international incentives to global conferences and corporate celebrations. An expert in their field they strive to provide the perfect platform for their clients to host memorable events however large or small.
With an array of inhouse expertise they manage all elements of the event from venue sourcing and delegate management for international events, through to app builds and full logistics for large scale conferences. They have longstanding partnerships with their trusted suppliers and transparency with their clients which help create an honest and open working environment.
The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, professional, and passionate Account Manager to join our team. A hands on delivery role, this is a key client-facing position where you will manage events from brief to delivery while nurturing and growing client relationships. You will be responsible for leading project teams, managing multiple events simultaneously, and ensuring every detail is planned to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for client accounts
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery
- Manage project teams
- Handle delegate management strategy
- Coordinate AV and event production, including faculty management
- Create compelling proposals and present innovative solutions to clients
- Manage budgets, invoicing, and event reconciliation
- Negotiate with suppliers
- Conduct risk assessments
- Facilitate client meetings and presentations
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a proactive and positive individual with a passion for delivering exceptional events. You will be a confident leader who can manage complex projects while maintaining a keen eye for detail and fostering strong client relationships.
The ideal candidate will be confident and professional, with excellent communication and negotiation abilities to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Outgoing and personable, they will approach challenges with a positive attitude and a proactive mindset. We want someone who is eager to grow within the business and contribute to its long-term success. Flexibility is key, as the role involves working both remotely and from the office, with a willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Approximately 8 years' experience in an events agency, with a willingness to travel globally
- Minimum 2-3 years as a Senior Project Manager or equivalent
- Proven track record of managing large-scale conferences and overseas incentives
- Experience handling multiple client relationships concurrently
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to maintain supplier relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage large budgets and complex logistics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and event technology platforms
- Experience with risk assessments and health and safety documentation
- Creative mindset with a solutions-oriented approach
