We are seeking a skilled Senior Project Manager to join a leading global engineering firm as part of their growing Sustainable Cities Sector. With a focus on water, environment, rail, and nuclear sectors, this role offers significant career development opportunities in a transformative, high-growth environment.
About the Role: As Senior Project Manager, you will deliver projects for water companies or the Environment Agency in the Midlands. You'll manage pre- and post-contract activities, including NEC 3 /4 contract administration, cost forecasting, and supplier engagement. With a focus on major capital programmes, you'll drive efficiencies, manage budgets, and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Contract: Scope planning, cost estimates, feasibility studies, tender preparation, risk identification.
Post-Contract: Contract administration, budget control, claims management, final accounts.
Contract Management: NEC 3/4 (Option A, C, E) administration and commercial management.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong client and internal relationships.
What We're Looking For:
Ideally a Degree in construction/ Engineering, Project Management
Full membership of a chartered body (e.g., APM at MAPM).
Extensive experience in Water, Environment, Rail, or Nuclear sectors.
Strong knowledge of NEC 3/4 contracts (A-C-E).
Experience with Early Contractor/Subcontractor Involvement (ECI/ESI).
Proven ability to manage teams, budgets, and commercial relationships.
