Senior Project Manager - Nuclear

We are seeking an experienced

Senior Project Manager with an engineering background

to lead the delivery of major nuclear infrastructure programmes across the UK. This senior leadership role offers a unique opportunity to influence and drive some of the most critical, technically complex projects within the nation's low-carbon energy transition.

You will take overall responsibility for multi-disciplinary project delivery, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the delivery of large-scale, complex nuclear projects across the full project lifecycle

Provide strategic oversight to multidisciplinary teams including engineering, construction, and project controls

Own programme delivery using

NEC3/NEC4 contracts , ensuring contractual compliance and effective risk management

Develop and drive comprehensive project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies

Act as the senior interface between clients, contractors, regulatory bodies, and key stakeholders

Ensure projects adhere to all regulatory, safety, environmental, and governance requirements

Drive project performance through robust reporting, assurance, and decision-making processes

Lead change control, early warnings, and compensation event management with strong commercial acumen

Mentor and develop project managers and team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement

Champion health and safety leadership across projects, embedding best practices throughout delivery

What You'll Bring

Engineering degree (civil, mechanical, electrical, nuclear, or related discipline)

Significant experience managing large nuclear or similarly complex, regulated infrastructure projects

Proven track record of successful delivery under

NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4 ECC )

Strong leadership skills with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and complex stakeholder landscapes

Excellent commercial and contract management capabilities, particularly in change and risk management

Deep understanding of health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in nuclear environments

Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills at senior levels

Eligible for

UK security clearance

and adept at working within secure and regulated settings
