Senior Project Planner - Security Cleared

Location: Multiple locations (Bristol, Cardiff, Derby, Oxford, Birmingham, Plymouth, South-West UK). Hybrid arrangement: 3 days on-site per week. Some travel involved. Up to £70K per annum.

Overview

A Senior Planner is needed to work with a top international consulting firm for design, engineering, and project management. The firm specializes in infrastructure, transportation, energy, and defence, with projects spanning Nuclear, Defence, and Aviation. You will support project managers by managing schedules, contract requirements, and integrated reporting, including EVM and cost-risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Manage project schedules and contract requirements across multiple large projects (Defence, Nuclear, Aviation, etc.).
• Provide integrated reporting, including Earned Value Management (EVM) and cost-risk assessments.
• Support project managers in planning activities and stakeholder coordination.
• Assist with planning tools and methodologies to drive industry best practices and success.

Qualifications

• Active Security Clearance (SC) - Strongly Preferred.
• Experience on multiple large projects in Defence or related sectors.
• Experience with NEC contracts.
• Strong experience with planning tools such as Primavera P6.
• Strong stakeholder management experience.
