Responsibilities



  • Lead planning across Cavendish’s nuclear projects, owning complex, high-value schedules.

  • Apply expert planning principles and tools like Primavera P6 to maintain integrated schedules aligned with strategic objectives across the full project lifecycle.

  • Develop and maintain project structures and integrated schedules (Levels 1–3).

  • Provide regular schedule updates, metrics (e.g. critical path/total float), and variance analysis.

  • Conduct critical path analysis and earned value reporting, communicating corrective actions.

  • Ensure alignment of schedules with cost and material demand tools.

  • Lead planning workshops and contribute to risk analysis and “what-if” scenarios.

  • This role is full time, 37 hours per week with hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 days remote).


Essential experience



  • Extensive experience in a similar planning role within engineering or infrastructure.

  • Advanced user of Primavera P6 with a strong understanding of planning best practice.

  • Proven expertise in schedule risk analysis, earned value, and interactive planning workshops.

  • Full lifecycle planning experience from bid through to close-out.


Qualifications



  • A degree in engineering, project or construction management is desirable.
