We are looking to strengthen our Commercial team with a Senior Quantity Surveyor based at Testwood with hybrid working available.

You will report directly to the Commercial Manager and be responsible for the Commercial Management of Project(s).

Key responsibilities will include:

1. Quantity surveying duties related to managing projects and work packages.
2. Liaising with design, construction, and supply chain teams to capture, analyze, and control costs.
3. Collaborating with clients to ensure business requirements are met.
4. Managing the main contract, including identifying and raising contractual notices and correspondence as necessary.
5. Preparing and issuing subcontract documentation.
6. Assisting in managing and evaluating subcontractor performance.
7. Managing the preparation and agreement of payment applications.
8. Preparing project cost & value reports, budgets, and forecasts.
9. Supporting the development of junior commercial staff.

Essential qualifications and experience:

• Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Working towards or holding chartered membership of a recognized institution.
• Experience in utilities, civil engineering, or MEICA sectors.
• Experience with NEC3 contracts.

Desirable:

• Experience managing and developing individuals or small teams.
