Job Title: Cost Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Liverpool or Manchester (North West)
Salary: £60,000-£70,000 basic salary + additional benefits package

The Role

Seeking an experienced Cost Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor to support high-value projects across mixed-use, retail, industrial, and large-scale remediation sectors. You’ll lead cost planning, tendering, and post-contract services, working closely with clients and design teams.

  • Deliver full pre- and post-contract cost consultancy across a diverse portfolio
  • Prepare feasibility studies, cost plans, procurement strategies, and tender documentation
  • Lead valuations, cost reporting, and change control throughout the project lifecycle
  • Provide strategic cost advice in client and design team meetings
  • Contribute to benchmarking, value engineering, and risk management
  • Assess abnormal site conditions and advise on cost impacts
  • Support business development and nurture client relationships
  • Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to team development
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and professional standards

What we’re looking for:

  • Degree/MSc in Quantity Surveying
  • MRICS (preferred) or working towards chartership
  • Strong experience in commercial property sectors
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
