The Role

  • You will investigate professional misconduct by gathering and analysing evidence, preparing case bundles, and drafting allegations, reports, and charges.
  • Manage correspondence with barristers, witnesses, and other stakeholders; make regulatory decisions; and handle your own caseload across investigations, enforcement, and Fitness to Practise.
  • Contribute to policy development, support continuous improvement initiatives, and work with colleagues to achieve regulatory objectives.

The Candidate

  • Qualified solicitors, barristers, or legal executives with proven experience managing their own caseload, including complex, high-level cases.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong decision-making abilities, and the capacity to assess risk and act independently.
  • Adept at analysing and accurately summarising complex documentation; experience engaging with the public and stakeholders in regulatory or legal contexts.
