Consultant - Financial Services ( London )

Meraki Talent is working with a well-regarded international bank to recruit a Senior Relationship Manager focusing on property and development finance within their corporate banking team. This is a permanent hybrid role based in London.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing day-to-day relationships with existing clients, understanding their evolving needs, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
• Marketing property finance services to new and potential customers, identifying and developing new business opportunities.
• Preparing high-quality credit proposals and facility documentation for Credit Committees.
• Conducting site visits and regular property reviews to monitor project and portfolio performance.
• Assessing credit risks, negotiating terms, and ensuring effective risk management.
• Liaising with lawyers, valuers, and monitoring surveyors to support transactions efficiently.
• Mentoring and guiding junior team members to promote best practice in property lending.
• Monitoring collections, covenants, and compliance requirements to meet regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong relationship management experience within development and property finance, particularly in commercial, leisure, and residential sectors.
• Excellent credit assessment, structuring, and negotiation skills.
• Confident communication and interpersonal skills with a commercial mindset.
• The ability to manage risk effectively while developing new business opportunities.
