Senior R&D Engineer – Medical Devices (Wound Care Innovation)

Are you ready to make a real impact in wound care innovation? A fast-growing medical device start-up is seeking a Senior R&D Engineer to take the lead on the design, development, and validation of a next- wound dressing platform targeting chronic and complex wounds.

What You’ll Do:

• Drive the design and experimental testing of a novel tissue repair platform
• Collaborate across R&D, regulatory, clinical and manufacturing teams
• Lead prototyping, materials selection, and device optimisation
• Develop and run V&V protocols aligned with ISO 13485 and FDA expectations
• Analyse data, troubleshoot, and implement design improvements
• Support IP and mentor junior engineers

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years’ R&D experience in the medical device industry
• Strong background in product design, testing and regulatory standards
• Skilled in experiment design and statistical analysis
• Comfortable working in a small, dynamic, and fast-paced team
• Excellent communicator with a problem-solving mindset
