Job Description

Our client are looking for a Senior Architect or Technician with experience delivering large-scale residential projects through construction.

You’ll be a key member of the technical design team, working on large-scale residential conversion and regeneration projects. From detailed design through to on-site delivery, you’ll ensure seamless coordination between new-build and refurbishment elements.

The Role

  • Develop and manage detailed drawing packages (Stages 4–5).
  • Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and specialist subcontractors.
  • Oversee on-site technical delivery and contractor engagement.
  • Manage design detailing, material selection, and construction sequencing.
  • Keep communication flowing across the wider project team to ensure smooth delivery.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience delivering projects on-site, specifically on large UK housing schemes.
  • Experience/interest in masterplanning
  • Strong design and technical skills, with confidence across all RIBA Stages (3–7).
  • Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations and standards.
  • Working knowledge of Permitted Development Regulations (desirable).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, with Revit (or similar) an advantage.
  • Excellent 2D and 3D drawing skills.
  • Organised, motivated, and adaptable, with strong time management.
