Are you a seasoned RF Engineer looking to apply your expertise in a high-impact role developing advanced radio communication systems?

A leading UK-based technology company—renowned for its robust, mission-critical communication solutions—is growing its RF engineering team. This is a rare opportunity to work on full-cycle RF design projects, from concept through to integration and type approval, within a multidisciplinary environment focused on TETRA, LTE, and emerging wireless technologies.

What You'll Do:
As a Senior RF Engineer, you'll take ownership of RF subsystem design for radio terminals, collaborating across baseband, audio, and MMI teams. Your day-to-day will involve:
  • End-to-end design of RF transmitters, receivers, and power amplifiers
  • Antenna design and tuning, matching networks, and EMC/EMI mitigation
  • Schematic design, component specification, and PCB layout guidance
  • RF performance optimisation, testing, and debugging using modern tools
  • Documentation of design work, test results, and compliance reports
  • Cross-functional collaboration with hardware, software, and systems teams
  • What You Bring:
  • Proven experience in hands-on RF circuit and system design
  • Strong technical foundation in at least three of: Tx/Rx architectures, PA design, receivers, matching networks, broadband/LTE comms
  • Familiarity with simulation tools (e.g. ADS, CST), RF testing procedures, and use of facilities such as anechoic chambers
  • Practical experience with technologies such as TETRA, LTE/4G/5G, GNSS, WiFi
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
  • UK work eligibility, full driving licence, and willingness to travel occasionally
  • Bonus Points For:
  • Experience with PMR systems or regulatory compliance
  • Understanding of MIMO, beamforming, or SDR technologies
  • Exposure to antenna system integration and high-frequency board rework
