Make Your Impact in Risk & Assurance
We're strengthening our Internal Controls & Risk team and we're looking for a Senior Risk & Assurance Partner to help shape how we protect our people, assets, and reputation.
This isn't box-ticking. It's a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll be trusted to deliver assurance reviews, sharpen risk frameworks, and influence senior leaders across every part of our business — manufacturing, warehousing & logistics, retail, and head office.
You'll join a close-knit team of three, reporting directly into the Head of Internal Controls & Risk. Together, you'll drive a proactive risk culture and continuous improvement agenda that really adds value.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading and delivering risk-based assurance reviews across the business.
- Developing and embedding control and risk management frameworks.
- Supporting business continuity and crisis management planning.
- Providing oversight of compliance and insurance frameworks.
- Acting as a senior point of expertise within the team, guiding and mentoring colleagues.
- Partnering with senior leaders to build ownership of risk and assurance.
- Presenting findings and insights with a solutions-focused approach.
What We're Looking For
- Solid experience in risk management, internal audit, or assurance (retail or multi-site preferred).
- A track record of delivering independent assurance reviews and improving controls.
- Broader compliance and insurance knowledge would be a plus.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills at senior level.
- Adaptable, resilient, and confident working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Professional qualification (CMIIA, CIA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) preferred.
Why Join Us?
- A salary with flexibility in how you work — 2 days at HQ, plus site visits and home working.
- A role with visibility and influence, working directly with senior leaders.
- The chance to be part of a growing, collaborative team making a real difference.
- If you're ready to take the next step in your risk & assurance career and want a role where your expertise will truly count, we'd love to hear from you
