We are offering two exciting secondment opportunities for Band 6 Senior Rotational Physiotherapists, aligned with our AHP Strategy’s focus on compassionate, inclusive, and evidence-based care.
These 8-month roles are ideal for physiotherapists seeking to develop leadership, clinical reasoning, and collaborative practice in mental health settings.

• Littlemore Mental Health Centre, Sandford Road, Littlemore, Oxford, OX4 4XN
• Cotswold House, Warneford Hospital, Warneford Lane, Oxford, OX3 7JX
Buckinghamshire Site:• Whiteleaf Centre, Bierton Road, Aylesbury, HP20 1EG
Main duties of the job Post 1: Oxford Mental Health InpatientsWork across Fullbrook, Littlemore, and Cotswold House supporting adults with complex needs in acute and specialist inpatient services.
Post 2: Whiteleaf Centre, AylesburyDeliver recovery-focused physiotherapy in adult mental health inpatient services as part of a multidisciplinary team.

This variety of experience will provide you with a breadth of knowledge and clinical skills, as well as developing your managerial and service development skills.

Depending on the rotation, successful applicants need to be able to travel between sites and to patients own homes to complete assessments, if necessary, adjustments can be considered in line with the Equality Act 2010.
You may be required to work evenings and weekends on occasion with prior notice.

Person specification Qualifications Essential criteria- BSc/MSc Physiotherapy
- HCPC registration
- Previous NHS Experience
- Extensive experience in variety of care settings and care groups
- Experience of managing complex patient caseloads and developing management plans based on advanced clinical reasoning
- Experience of supervising other staff or students
- Adaptable and flexible
- Keen to learn, enthusiasm, reflective practice
- UK driving licence and car available to travel for work and carry equipment relevant to your role. Adjustments can be considered in line with the Equality Act 2010 where required.
