Senior Ruby-on-Rails Engineer (Remote - Europe)

Our client is one of the Top Largest & Fastest-Growing AI Companies in the World with 30+ Million Users in under 2 years.

Their tech team is growing quickly to keep up with an ambitious feature roadmap. We’re hiring experienced Senior Software Engineers (Back-end / Ruby) to help us build and scale our product. In this role, you’ll have the chance to shape our roadmap, design smart technical solutions for our customers, and experiment with new ideas that push our platform forward.

You’ll report directly to the Tech Lead and collaborate closely with the product team and engineering colleagues (web developers, SRE, data scientists).

What you’ll do

• Work with the Product Manager to review project specifications
• Prepare integration plans, break-downs, and time estimates
• Contribute hands-on with coding, pull requests, code reviews, and testing

While full-stack skills are welcome, we’re especially looking for engineers with strong back-end expertise in Ruby on Rails.

Qualifications

Must-haves

• 5+ years of experience:
• • As a back-end or full-stack software engineer, with recent Ruby on Rails experience (mandatory)
  • In fast-paced, agile environments such as scale-ups
  • Building large-scale products used by thousands of monthly users
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills (fluent in English)
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Doer mindset balancing software craftsmanship with speed
• User-first mentality you care deeply about building outstanding experiences
• Comfort working on products involving uncensored models and content (#NSFW)

Bonus points

• Background or interest in data science and generative AI (NLP, ML, MLOps, etc.)
• Experience working with globally distributed teams
