Senior Sales Executive, Technology Solutions – Europe

Modus Create is seeking a driven, consultative Senior Sales Executive to help grow our footprint across enterprise accounts in Europe, with a focus on R&D and specialized software solutions, cloud-native product development, AI innovation, modernization, and digital transformation. This is a quota-carrying role focused on new business development and strategic expansion within mid-to-large enterprises, including high-growth disruptors and established market leaders.

Overview

As a trusted advisor and high-impact sales professional, you will represent Modus' expertise across innovation, technical R&D, and application development. You will articulate the value of Modus capabilities (build systems, compiler engineering, cloud-native platforms, AI, modernization) and connect these to strategic business outcomes. You will maintain a consultative, hunter-closer mindset, building trust with senior executives across markets and leading clients from idea to execution. You operate with a product-first, cloud-smart, AI-fluent mindset in fast-moving, multicultural environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive consultative enterprise sales in professional services/digital consulting, including end-to-end sales cycles for high-value, complex services in areas such as technical R&D, AI initiatives, legacy modernization, automation, or product engineering.
• Engage senior executives, technology and business stakeholders to uncover needs, shape tailored solutions, and deliver value-based proposals.
• Navigate complex enterprise buying groups to build consensus and close deals.
• Expand new business across the EU region by prospecting, qualifying, and closing new enterprise accounts across multiple countries and cultures.
• Develop and execute territory plans in collaboration with delivery, partner, and marketing teams; travel within the EU to advance deals and strengthen market presence.
• Grow technical capabilities into sales leads by discovering opportunities aligned with Modus' expertise (e.g., blockchain, compiler engineering, build systems) and engaging with technical and open source communities to convert recognition into sales.
• Collaborate with technical experts and executives to create technically and commercially compelling business cases; represent Modus at partner events, conferences, and trade shows.
• Lead strategic technology conversations, positioning cloud platforms (especially AWS), AI/ML innovation, and digital modernization as business value drivers; translate complex concepts into clear business outcomes for both executives and technical stakeholders; advise on platform integration, DevOps, and automation.
• Build and leverage strategic partner ecosystems; execute co-sell motions with partners such as AWS and GitHub; identify high-potential clients and opportunities to advance Modus' expertise; accelerate pipeline and deal velocity; represent the company at partner events.
• Operate with autonomy in a remote-first environment; proactively build and manage a robust pipeline with minimal oversight; adapt to a fast-changing environment while contributing insights to evolve go-to-market; partner with technical leaders to ensure seamless handoff from sales to execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in B2B consultative sales of digital consulting or professional services, with a strong track record of quota attainment.
• Proven success exceeding quota and outperforming peers through drive, execution, and tenacity.
• Experience selling professional services and/or consulting engagements focused on cloud platforms, digital transformation, AI enablement, or modernization initiatives.
• Proven experience selling complex, high-value professional services engagements — including multi-phase, cross-functional, or enterprise-scale project deals.
• Demonstrated success in hunting new business and growing existing relationships across multiple countries and cultures.
• Experience developing role-based and industry-specific sales strategies; strong understanding of tailoring value propositions to buyer personas and vertical priorities.
• Demonstrated expertise in solution selling — diagnosing client challenges, shaping consultative conversations, and leading with value in collaboration with internal teams to deliver outcome-based solutions.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT priorities including cloud-native adoption and modernization, DevOps, AI enablement, product engineering, and automation.
• Experience engaging C-level executives across business and technology in diverse cultural contexts.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Skilled in developing and executing territory strategies with market trends, partner signals, and client insights to drive pipeline health and growth.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (particularly AWS), AI/ML technologies, and modern enterprise architecture patterns; proven experience navigating cloud partner ecosystems and co-selling motions.
• Proficiency with CRM, productivity tools, and sales reporting.
• Awareness of EU regulatory considerations, including data privacy (GDPR).

• Multi-lingual capability in addition to English (German, Dutch, or French is a strong asset).
• Experience in regulated or multi-national environments; ability to navigate EU regulatory/compliance landscapes (e.g., GDPR) and deliver compliant solutions.
• DevOps, product engineering, or automation experience; familiarity with modern development practices and AI platforms.
• Prior experience in a high-growth, global firm; ability to navigate multi-country sales cycles and diverse cultures within the EU.
• Experience with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) or precision prospecting to support targeted pipeline development.
