You’ll sell across all four platforms, with a primary focus on UK and European growth via ADVFN and our broader global ecosystem. The Opportunity We’re hiring a well‑connected, hunter‑type Senior Sales Executive to build and close new business in the UK and European markets. You’ll own a revenue number, prospect into listed issuers, IR/PR agencies, brokers and corporate advisers, and turn complex needs into integrated programs that deliver measurable outcomes. This is a full‑cycle role for a closer who thrives on relationships, strategy, and execution in and around the UK capital markets. What You’ll Do
Own a book & build pipeline: prospect, qualify, and advance new opportunities; run a tight cadence across outbound, events, referrals, and partner channels Full‑cycle selling: lead discovery, solution design, proposals, negotiation, and close – with clean handoffs and leadership through onboarding and delivery Sell integrated programs: map client objectives to cross‑platform solutions (investor reach, content, sponsorships, data), align KPIs, and drive ROI across UK and global audiences C‑suite & adviser relationships: engage CEOs, CFOs, IR/PR leads, brokers and corporate advisers/NOMADs with a consultative approach and credible market insight Work closely with brokers & intermediaries: develop and deepen relationships to drive repeat programs, deal‑driven campaigns and ecosystem opportunities Forecast with rigor: maintain accurate CRM hygiene and deliver reliable weekly pipeline forecasts Be present in‑market: represent The Market Link at UK and European industry events, conferences, and roadshows; travel as needed
Requirements
Proven B2B closer 5–8+ years selling media, ad‑tech, sponsorships, finance or related solutions to listed issuers, financial firms and/or agencies; consistent quota‑beater and new‑logo hunter Domain credibility: strong grasp of UK capital markets (AIM, LSE main market, and/or small/mid‑cap), how retail investors move, and what issuers, brokers and agencies value Executive‑level consultative selling: ability to translate objectives into persuasive, ROI‑driven proposals; confident negotiating five‑ and six‑figure programmes Networked in the ecosystem: existing relationships across UK issuers, IR/PR firms, brokers, corporate advisers and other ecosystem partners – and the drive to expand that network Operational discipline: excellent communication, presentation, and time‑management skills; meticulous CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot or similar) and forecast accuracy
Nice to Have
Experience packaging multi‑property or multi‑market media solutions Familiarity with financial products/services and emerging trends in financial media and investor marketing Exposure to UK regulatory and disclosure environments (e.g., FCA, market announcements, corporate actions) Advanced sales/negotiation training or formal methodology (MEDDIC, Challenger, SPIN, etc.)
