As a New Business Sales Executive, you will be responsible for promoting our suite of software solutions into the wholesale, manufacturing and distribution marketplace, with the aim to deliver new business sales against an agreed annual target. As a Tier 1 sales executive you will focus on acquiring new customers by selling and promoting our K8 software-based solution, through prospecting, lead generation, cold calling, networking and conducting sales presentations with our dedicated presales team to potential customers. Your goal is to identify and cultivate relationships with prospects, understand their needs and ultimately close deals to drive revenue growth for our company.
Responsibilities
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: with the support of our internal lead generation team, identify and research potential customers who may be interested in our K8 solution
- Cold calling and Outreach: initiate contact with prospects through telephone calls, emails or other channels to introduce our offerings and schedule meetings and/or demonstrations
- Conducting Sales Presentations: present the company’s products and services to potential customers, highlighting value and addressing objections
- Building Relationships: cultivate relationships with prospects by understanding their needs, challenges and goals
- Negotiating and Closing Deals: negotiate terms, pricing and contracts to secure new business and achieve sales targets
- Collaboration: work with internal teams to ensure alignment in delivering value to customers
- Reporting and Analysis: track sales activities and pipeline progress using the CRM and provide regular reports
- Continuous Learning: stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activities and product developments
Qualifications
- Communication: effective communication of value proposition and negotiation
- Interpersonal Skills: building and maintaining relationships with clients
- Sales Techniques: proficiency in prospecting, cold calling, objection handling and closing
- Product Knowledge: understanding of the company’s products, features and benefits
- Market and Industry Knowledge: awareness of the targeted industry
- Resilience and Persistence: ability to cope with rejection and setbacks
- Time Management: strong organisational skills
- Problem-Solving: ability to identify needs, address objections and craft solutions
- Technology Proficiency: MS Office, CRM systems, email marketing platforms and presentation software
- Analytical Mindset: ability to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Ethical Standards: conduct yourself professionally to foster trust with customers
Special Conditions
- A valid driving licence and passport is essential as travel will be required
