Senior Sales Manager, Northwest at BT Group. The role focuses on continuing to drive sales within the Health strategy and co-creating strategy for Local Government, Education and Housing with commercial/proposition, and driving sales in the region.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive account management plan focused on securing large volumetric deals across the key pillars of the product line. Identify target segments within your regional health and social care setting and align BT’s Health Strategy. Use all communications tools, business development function, clinical board and BT Health professional networks to advance and execute your strategy.
- Thought Leadership: Establish yourself as a thought leader and industry authority within the Health and Social Care Sector, representing BT at industry events, conferences, and forums. Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives and keep abreast of market trends.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify key trends, opportunities, and competitor strategies. Use insights to inform the business development strategy and maximise BT’s competitive advantage.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key sector stakeholders at C-Suite level, senior executives, clinical leaders and influencers. Demonstrate BT’s value proposition and commitment to digital transformation.
- Solution Selling: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create tailored solutions addressing sector challenges. Present solutions and guide customers through the buying process.
- Collaboration: Manage internal relationships with BT specialist product groups (networks, cybersecurity, delivery, service, CX and others). Build long-term partnerships based on trust and clear communication.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead complex negotiations with legal and finance support to structure value-driven agreements.
- Performance Tracking: Set sales targets and KPIs, monitor progress, and report on pipeline and forecasts.
