Senior SAP Data Application Consultant – Capgemini

About the Role

As one of the leading SAP System Integrators, Capgemini is expanding its data capability to work on exciting projects using the latest SAP technologies, including S/4HANA, SAP Data Services, SAP Information Steward and SAP MDG. Data is pivotal to Renewable Enterprise and you will be key to enabling our clients to move to a data‑led approach, involved with all aspects of data on our S/4HANA project.

Hybrid Working

The places you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of company offices, client sites, and your home. You will not be able to work at home 100% of the time.

Your Role

• Demonstrate in‑depth knowledge and expertise of SAP Data, and nurture and mentor less experienced consultants.
• Expertise in implementing and using SAP Migration Cockpit.
• Experienced in delivering SAP MDG solutions.
• Manage Data Migration projects in SAP environments.
• Understand how data aspects need to be considered within overall SAP solution design.
• Knowledge of ABAP an advantage.
• Provide thought leadership to clients and internal customers with knowledge of available solutions within SAP portfolio and supporting products.
• Manage and develop your career alongside project delivery through training, networking and contributing to practice and wider group growth and objectives.

Your Skills and Experience

• Experience in SAP Data Migration, ABAP programming or SAP Data Services required; knowledge of SAP tables, structures, and transactions.
• Experience using SAP Migration Cockpit.
• Experience of SAP Data Migration project lifecycles, deep knowledge of ECC, S/4HANA functionality and data structures/tables.
• Willingness to learn new tools and skills in the data space such as CBS ET, Data Services, and Information Steward.

Security Clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. Successful applicants must have resided continuously within the UK for the last 5 years and meet other criteria. Some posts are restricted to UK Nationals.
