About our UK SAP Practice Team: Capgemini UK is a leading SAP Integration Partner, helping our clients navigate through complex SAP transformations. Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role
We are looking for experienced consultants on Financial Planning and Consolidation, with a strong emphasis on Financial Consolidation, to join our team. As a SAP EPM Consultant, you will help client leverage SAP’s latest technology and maximise the value of their investment by delivering innovative, high-quality solutions on time and to budget. You will be responsible for working in solution architecting, technical design and configuration work streams within complex SAP solutions.
- Working within a broader Capgemini and client team, deliver end-to-end planning and consolidation solutions using SAP Group Reporting and SAP Analytics Cloud
- Apply design thinking concepts in solution blueprint and be accountable for the functional design and integration
- Guide the client, and influence key business stakeholders, with your functional and technical knowledge in financial consolidation, SAP Group Reporting functionalities and best practices
- Hands-on role in technical/functional configuration activities, including all build and testing activities
- Be part of the team, advise and, if required, manage on-shore and off-shore teams during projects
- Be actively involved in the development of our junior talent and sharing knowledge across the team and the wider SAP practice.
- Display excellent communication and presentation skills
- Work on RFP’s, sales bids and pre-sales activities, working closely with senior management to help strengthen the practice
- Stay current, learning and developing SAP skills aligned with new technology/functionalities as it is released
- Pro-actively seek new opportunities/engagements
Your Skills And Experience
- Configuration and implementation experience in the delivery of complex Financial Consolidations solution using SAP tools – especially SAP Group Reporting or, alternatively, SAP BPC
- Strong functional experience in financial consolidation combined with a strong knowledge of the business processes within finance is required
- Good balance of technical and functional experience in solutioning/design, configuration and reporting
- Good understanding of configuration of integration with systems like SAP Analytics Cloud, S/4HANA ,BW/4HANA and BPC
- Strong written and verbal communications skills that can influence at all levels, including team members working remotely
- Experience delivering financial planning solutions (e.g. financial, workforce and/or driver-based planning and their typical business processes) is highly advantageous – especially using SAP Analytics Cloud
- Experience using SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BPC, SAP BW, SAP BI-IP or similar consolidation, planning and analytics tools is highly advantageous
- Industry experience in finance/accounting or system support role would be seen as a benefit
To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements. Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
