Senior Security Consultant

Join Buro Happold as a Senior Security Consultant. Bring experience from the Built Environment and contribute to projects ranging from airports to advanced hi‑tech facilities.

Key Duties

• Assess threats, vulnerabilities and risks to produce risk registers.
• Develop security strategies to meet statutory requirements.
• Design new concepts while keeping abreast of emerging threats and trends.
• Advise clients on appropriate security technologies.
• Deliver testing programmes and exercises to assure security programme integrity.
• Support and mentor graduate security consultants.
• Write and research standards, policies, procedures, work instructions and protective security intelligence reports.

Skills & Experience

• A qualification in Security and Risk Management, Crime & Criminology or related subjects.
• Chartered or working towards chartership with a relevant institution.
• Membership of the Security Institute (SyI), Association of Security Consultants (ASC) or International Association of Professional Security Consultants (IAPSC).
• Experience developing security strategies and assessing risks across a range of projects, sectors and geographic locations.
• Willingness to undergo security vetting if required by projects.
