Overview

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking an experienced Delivery Practice Manager (DPM) to join our ProServe Shared Delivery Team (SDT) at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you'll manage a team of ProServe Delivery Consultants while supporting AWS enterprise customers through transformative projects. You'll leverage your IT and/or management Consulting background to serve as a strategic advisor to customers, partners, and internal AWS teams.

Responsibilities

  • Building and managing a team of Delivery Consultants and/or Engagement Managers working with customers and partners to architect and implement innovative solutions.
  • Engaging with Director, C-level executives, and governing boards, while being responsible for opportunity capture and driving engagement delivery.
  • Working closely with partner teams; driving business development initiatives through thought leadership; providing portfolio guidance and oversight; and meeting and exceeding customer satisfaction targets.
  • Focusing on understanding and defining business outcomes for customers by building trust, identifying applicable AWS Professional Services offerings, and creating proposals and SOWs.
  • Optimizing team performance through tailored people development plans, aligning teams to customer needs, and ensuring skills and capacity to address customer outcomes.
  • Translating technical concepts into business value for customers and communicating with teams in technical depth, while cultivating strong customer, Amazon Global Sales (AGS), and ProServe relationships.
  • Supporting sales through scoping technical requirements for engagements, delivering engagements on time and within budget, and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Managing the Practice total utilization goal and being responsible for overall team performance.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in IT Industry leadership on relevant topics related to enterprise IT infrastructure
