Main Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced and detailed keyword research and categorisations
  • Autonomously run crawls of websites, analyse them and produce detailed technical audits for clients
  • Prioritise technical recommendations based on impact
  • Carry out real-life walkthroughs and audits of client websites against important SEO KPIs
  • Support website migrations from beginning to end, including pre- and post-migration analysis, mapping, creating rules and post-migration auditing
  • Own project management and delivery of key SEO projects, including acting as client lead for some clients
  • Liaise with clients regularly (responding to briefs, attending meetings, status reporting, information seeking, managing milestones and approvals)
  • Monitor SEO project performance, timelines and budgets; report regularly to the account manager/director and the client
  • Collaborate with cross-channel teams to achieve the best client results
  • Perform in-depth competitor analyses, focusing on technical elements of websites and the SERP landscape
  • Deliver SEO campaign work as assigned and support day-to-day account management
  • Understand the client’s products and services and contribute to campaign objectives
  • Produce accurate, detailed technical SEO reports using proprietary and third-party tools; discuss results with stakeholders
  • Coordinate with internal project teams and third-party suppliers
  • Carry out technical changes to clients’ websites as required
  • Use analytical tools to assess competitor activity, share of voice and growth opportunities
  • Regularly monitor client websites, SERPs and analytics; provide feedback on significant changes
  • Proactively seek training and ongoing professional development to stay up to date with developments

Skills and Experience

  • 1-3+ years experience in SEO in a digital marketing environment
  • Comprehensive understanding and passion for digital marketing and SEO
  • Strong analytical skill set
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to conduct research and present findings coherently
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise in a fast-moving environment
  • Initiative and self-motivation
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Technical SEO knowledge including HTML meta tags, URL structure, and schema.org markup for desktop and mobile
  • Deep understanding of search marketing factors influencing performance
  • Experience with SEO tools such as seoClarity, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Keyword Planner, Answer the Public and Google Trends
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools
  • Experience of using G-Suite
  • Experience with Looker Studio and building dashboards
  • Experience in website migrations
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager

Working Conditions

  • This position may require occasional travel
  • Hybrid work arrangement: two days per week working from the office near St. Paul’s
