About the role.
We're looking for an experienced SEO lead to drive fast growth in our SEO channel across our digital ecosystem. This is a strategic and hands‑on role, working closely with our agency partners, developers, and internal teams to deliver measurable, fast‑paced growth.
You will be responsible for:
- Drive significant growth in our SEO visits and revenue
- Lead, develop and manage a team of 13
- Designing, executing, and measuring SEO strategies that align with our e‑commerce objectives
- Conducting advanced keyword research and opportunity analysis
- Pro‑actively identifying and prioritising initiatives that drive organic traffic and improve rankings
- Collaborating with our agency & tech team to optimise site architecture, internal linking, and technical SEO elements
- Leading improvements across core web vitals, site speed, schema markup, and device usability
- Managing canonicalisation, hreflang, redirects, and URL structure with precision
- Driving offsite authority through Digital PR and outreach campaigns
About you.
- Deep understanding of SEO, Google crawling, indexing, and search intent
- Expertise in metadata, content gap analysis, and EEAT principles
- Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor junior team members
- A data‑driven mindset with a focus on cross‑channel integration and prioritisation
- Experience working with tools like Ahrefs, Google Keyword Planner, Search Console, Bing Webmaster, Screaming Frog, GA4, and Jira
- Experience working in a fast‑paced digital retail environment

You can expect a two‑stage interview process for this position:
1st stage – An informal 30‑45 minute video call with the hiring team to discuss your skills and relevant experience. This is a great opportunity to find out more about the role and to ask any questions you may have.
2nd stage – A one‑hour formal task‑based interview. This will be held in‑person at our Liverpool office.
