Location: Birmingham. Corporate Title: Assistant Vice President. You will be joining Automation Platforms responsible for the strategy and development for the core, cross-technology ServiceNow Enterprise Platform utilized for IT Service Management, Integrated Risk Management as well as Hardware & Software Asset Management. You will have an opportunity to elicit requirements, design and implement solutions used by tens of thousands of users across the world. We are a global team and you will work with the best ServiceNow Engineers and Business Analysts within the teams spanning three locations (UK, US and India).

Your key responsibilities

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for ITSM processes/CMDB/ITOM/ITAM and provide support to related development teams
  • Liaise with Product Team, customers, and stakeholders as the business/functional counterpart for solution identification
  • Analyze incoming demand requests and translate them into technical stories for the backlog
  • Support Agile ceremonies: Sprint planning, Daily stand-ups, Show & Tell and Retrospectives
  • Support the business strategy, plans and values, contributing to a high-performance team culture
  • Be accountable for defect analysis and drive resolution with developers and architects

Your skills and experience

  • Significant experience as a ServiceNow Business Analyst in a dynamic IT environment
  • In-depth ServiceNow product knowledge in one or more areas (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM). Mainline ServiceNow certifications are advantageous
  • Proven ability to translate high-level requirements into technical stories for stakeholders of varying seniorities
  • Experience working in a Scaled Agile environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task and manage priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable working in virtual teams across multiple locations
