Senior Social Worker (children's) - Safeguarding

Your new company We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker or Advanced Practitioner to join our Safeguarding and Support Team, working with Children in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) cases. This role will involve a mix of CIN, CP, and Court proceedings, with additional responsibilities around OFSTED preparation.
Your new role
Manage a manageable caseload of approximately 18 cases (CIN, CP, and proceedings). Undertake duty every 5 weeks, handling urgent issues (not new family allocations). Contribute to OFSTED readiness activities. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including the Children's Act.What you'll need to succeed To be successful, you will need to
Have a recognised professional Social Work qualification (MA/BA/B.Sc. in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or CQSW) Social Work England registration Qualified Social Worker with recent experience in CIN, CP, and Court proceedings (open to candidates with strong experience in one or two areas). 3 year post-qualifying permanent experience. Previous experience working within Social Work adults services Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to travel as required.
