Senior Software Engineer | R3vamp | Cambridge, England

R3vamp is an AI‑tech start‑up developing AI solutions for engineering benefits. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our small, high‑impact team. The role involves working 2‑3 days per week in our new Cambridge office (with a shared office in London) and collaborating closely with founders, partners, and stakeholders. You’ll have the opportunity to shape product architecture, mentor junior engineers, and possibly grow into a Lead/Management position.

Key responsibilities:
• Shape the product from the ground up, influencing architecture, design, and technology choices.
• Write, test, and deploy code while ensuring high quality and scalability.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers; manage technical aspects of projects.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external clients to define requirements and specifications.
• Participate in discussions about R&D, ML, and algorithm development, fostering innovation for future product growth.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of industry experience building full‑stack applications.
• Expertise in 3D vector graphics (WebGL/OpenGL).
• Experience with computer graphics or computer vision projects is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate directly with clients across cross‑functional groups.
• Experience delivering greenfield projects from inception to launch.
• Mentored junior staff or held formal managerial responsibilities.
