Shape the products that make a difference to our business

You will be responsible for activities contributing to the design and development of products, solutions and systems. Your activity will be linked to technical improvement of existing products and components.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the engineering and integration of subsea production control systems, including hardware and software components.
  • Contributing to NPI and R&D efforts by evaluating emerging technologies, prototyping new control solutions, and supporting product qualification and field trials.
  • Developing and reviewing functional design specifications, control narratives, and system architecture documents.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards (API 17F, IEC, ISO) and client specifications.
  • Providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Supporting troubleshooting and optimization of existing subsea control systems.
  • Participating in design reviews, risk assessments, and innovation workshops to drive technical excellence and product differentiation.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will

  • Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Automation, or Control Engineering.
  • Have substantial experience in automation engineering, with at least 5 years in subsea production control systems.
  • Be Proficient in PLC/DCS programming (e.g., Siemens, ABB, Schneider, Rockwell).
  • Have experience with SCADA systems, HMI development, and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP).
  • Possess familiarity with subsea control modules, EPU, MCS, and hydraulic/electrical distribution systems.
  • Have a strong understanding of offshore oil & gas operations and safety standards.
  • Have excellent problem‑solving, communication, and project management skills.
