Senior .NET Engineer - FinTech Innovation | Belfast (Hybrid)

My client, a leading player in the global FinTech industry, is expanding rapidly in Belfast and is seeking experienced Senior .NET Engineers to be part of their exciting growth journey. This is your chance to work on high-impact systems that process complex financial data at scale, within a collaborative, engineering-driven culture.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing, developing and deploying high-performance .NET solutions within a cloud-native environment.
  • Building modern microservices architectures using C#, .NET Core, and Azure.
  • Working closely with Product, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver secure, scalable applications.
  • Contributing to architectural decisions and mentoring mid-level engineers within your team.
  • Writing clean, testable, and maintainable code that drives innovation across the FinTech domain.

Tech Stack & Environment

  • Languages: C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET
  • Cloud: Azure (Functions, Service Bus, App Services)
  • Databases: SQL Server, Entity Framework, and exposure to NoSQL a plus
  • DevOps: CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar)
  • Practices: Agile delivery, TDD/BDD, code reviews, and continuous improvement

About You

  • 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience, ideally within .NET and modern distributed systems.
  • Strong understanding of clean architecture, domain-driven design, and microservices.
  • Experience with cloud deployments and performance optimisation.
  • A passion for solving complex technical challenges and driving quality in everything you build.
  • Excellent communication skills and a desire to contribute to a positive, collaborative engineering culture.
