Job Description

We are at the forefront of the energy sector’s transformation, driving sustainable solutions. As Senior Solar Design Engineers, you will work on feasibility, design, and technical advisory roles for a range of commercial‑scale rooftop, car‑port, floating, and ground‑mount solar projects worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Design PV systems using PVSol, PVSyst, PVCase, or other PV design software.
• Provide design layout, system specification, cost estimates and technical reports.
• Conduct technical site surveys nationwide.
• Apply BS 7671 wiring regulation and IET CoP for solar PV installations.
• Attend client meetings and build rapport to coordinate and develop solutions.
• Support the commercial team in preparing technical submission documents and tenders from a technical perspective.
• Uphold a robust health and safety culture across the company.
• Gain and maintain knowledge of the latest electrical codes.
• Work in line with engineering technical excellence and take pride in work and project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven track record and experience in the design, specification or construction of solar PV projects as a consultant or EPC contractor.
• Ability to produce formal reports and documents.
• Driven, independent, diligent, and detail‑oriented.
• Intent to achieve chartership in a relevant institute.
• Engineering degree and/or master’s degree in a related subject.
• Full UK driver’s licence to travel to remote client sites.
