Location: Manchester (Hybrid Working)

Salary: £65,000 - £80,000

We are seeking an Senior Associate to join a Property, Energy and Construction (PEC) team in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading insurance law team, handling complex, high-value domestic and international claims.

The Opportunity

  • Manage a varied caseload across the team's core areas: property damage, energy, and construction insurance.
  • Advise insurers and reinsurers on coverage issues and defend high-value, complex claims.
  • Handle subrogated recovery actions and contribute to major, high-profile cases.
  • Collaborate with lawyers across an international network to deliver seamless global service.

Experience & Skills Required

  • 6+ years' PQE (guide only) as a Qualified Solicitor with insurance litigation experience.
  • Solid background in coverage work and property damage recoveries.
  • Strong communication and drafting skills, with a focus on clear, commercial advice.
  • Excellent organisational and research abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Proactive and confident managing cases independently within a supportive team environment.
