About the Role: NESO is undergoing a Digital Transformation of our group ERP functions for HR, Finance & Procurement. We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to work on our ERP programme, with extensive experience delivering HR, Finance and Procurement solutions. Knowledge of either Workday or iValua would be advantageous. You will own and drive design, ensuring deliverables meet the needs of the teams and the programme. The candidate must be a strong communicator to drive design decisions and translate technical points for non-technical stakeholders. You will provide support and guidance across design, data, testing, and governance, reporting into the architecture function and aligning the overall design including integrations to other applications with our strategic objectives and programme principles.

The role is a mix of on-site and off-site work, with predominant office locations in Wokingham and Warwick. This role can be based from our offices in Wokingham or Warwick with hybrid working arrangements that allow a blend of office and home working.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance on systems design and best practices to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Produce comprehensive architecture blueprints and designs enabling function delivery.
  • Design and implement system integrations, ensuring ERP applications are well integrated with other business systems.
  • Chair and manage the Solution Design Authority, guiding design decisions within the finance function.
  • Collaborate with product owners to ensure architecture and design align with business needs.
  • Act as the bridge between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication.
  • Provide technical leadership for integration efforts between data sources and platforms.
  • Identify design gaps and propose remediation strategies to support the program.
  • Ensure scalability, reliability, and compliance of the target design.
  • Validate designs for accuracy and consistency; apply and support Architecture Standards in delivery and operations.

About You

  • Passionate about delivering innovative solutions that support modernisation and digital transformation with ERP solutions.
  • Experience integrating ERP solutions with other third-party solutions.
  • Extensive experience designing and implementing finance/procurement/people architectures and processes with focus on simplicity and automation.
  • Strong knowledge of APIs, data integrations, ETL processes, and system architecture patterns.
  • Solid experience implementing modern ERP solutions.
  • Strong communicator with excellent writing skills, able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

What You’ll Get

A competitive salary between £75,000 – £80,000 – dependent on experience and capability.

In addition to base salary, you may be eligible for a bonus of up to 15% of salary for stretch performance, 28 days annual leave, and a competitive contributory pension scheme with company contribution up to 12% (double matched).
