Opportunities

As a Senior Solutions Engineer you will collaborate closely with regional peers across alliances, sales, marketing and product to help win strategic sales opportunities. You will deliver impactful presentations, product demonstrations and deep dives across customer engagements and industry events. As a spokesperson for Quantexa’s technology, you will build lasting trust with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate the value and impact of the Quantexa Decision Intelligence Platform, helping prospects understand how it enables smarter, faster, and more confident decision‑making through connected, trusted data.
  • Identify and position the right Quantexa solution tailored to each prospect’s specific needs.
  • Guide prospects through a clear, outcome‑driven solution strategy that sets the stage for long‑term value and success.
  • Live‑demonstrate your expertise in Quantexa’s platform and products, highlighting real‑world applications.
  • Articulate and present the value of our platform, demonstrating how Quantexa solves specific pain points and enables better decision‑making.
  • Represent Quantexa at industry events, customer meetings, and webinars, showcasing our capabilities and thought leadership.
  • Own the technical aspects of the sales cycle, working alongside Sales, Architects, Product and SMEs.
  • Drive winning proposals, including RFPs and RFIs.
  • Strategically own the design and execution of PoCs and trials, ensuring alignment with customer objectives.
  • Lead the design and iteration of tailored solutions, working with partners, customers and internal teams to define the right approach.
  • Design, adapt and deliver customised product demonstrations, both in‑person and remotely, engaging stakeholders from users to executives.
  • Expertly guide and shape discovery sessions with prospects and partners, uncovering core business challenges and technical needs.
  • Elevate Quantexa’s profile through UK sector events such as Security & Policing, DSEI, and NPCC conferences and thought leadership.
  • Showcase how Quantexa’s solutions enable UK agencies to rapidly identify threats, share intelligence securely, and collaborate across policing, defence, and intelligence domains.

Requirements

  • Experience in a commercially focused, technical role such as Solution Engineering, Pre‑Sales, Technical Sales or Value Consulting.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of effective customer engagement.
  • You are an exceptional communicator, able to captivate audiences of all sizes with an innate ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Proven experience across at least two solution areas (e.g. Financial Crime, Data Management, Customer 360), with deep expertise in at least one of them, focused on either technical or business capabilities.
  • Leverage a proven history of delivering enterprise software solutions to senior stakeholders within UK policing, defence and intelligence agencies, supporting mission‑critical operations and intelligence‑led decision‑making.
  • Boast domain expertise across multiple areas of government such as with the Home Office, National Crime Agency (NCA), Ministry of Defence (MoD), MI5/MI6/GCHQ.
  • Strong technology knowledge, particularly in enterprise software environments.
  • Successfully led a minimum of five extensive proving engagements. Proving engagements include PoCs or early implementation phases, or alternatively, all of the following activities: technical workshops, prototypes, bespoke demonstrations, and business cases.
  • Confident in presenting and pitching solutions to senior stakeholders at Tier 1 organisations.
  • Proven ability to drive innovation and best practices that elevate Solution Engineering performance, with multiple examples of successful implementation.

Desired Skills

  • Strong expertise in data‑driven, analytical solutions such as Entity Resolution, Graph Generation, Advanced Analytics and MDM.
  • Domain knowledge in areas such as Risk, Anti‑Financial Crime, AML, KYC and CRM.
  • Technical expertise in data storage, processing and containerisation technology such as Cloud or On‑prem Distributed File Systems, Spark, Databricks, Kubernetes, Open Search, Elastic Search.

Location

This role is based in London and may require travel to customer sites where appropriate. It can be structured as either hybrid or in‑office depending on your location and preferences, typically 1‑2 days per week in the London office.
