Senior Sourcing Manager Salary, Hours, and Benefits

• Hybrid option is available
• Monday – Friday, 9am to 5pm

Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will be responsible for providing an effective and efficient Procurement Service to business stakeholders for the assigned categories.

This includes executing strategic sourcing using market research and cost analysis to identify and contract with the best-fit suppliers, and ongoing supplier management to ensure supply assurance of materials and services meeting quality standards and specifications.

Senior Sourcing Manager Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Procurement or Sourcing roles (e.g., Buyer, Category Manager, Sourcing Specialist/Manager, or similar).
• Experienced user of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel (VLookup, PivotTables, etc.).
• Ability to structure and analyze data to identify opportunities and risks.
• Negotiation skills and experience.
• Ability to deliver results in a dynamic working environment, across multiple tasks.
• MCIPS Level 6 would be desirable.

Senior Sourcing Manager Key Responsibilities (but not limited to)

• Engage with internal customers to understand business needs and expected outcomes.
• Conduct spend analysis of assigned categories to identify sourcing and negotiation opportunities and deliver Supplier Segmentation classification.
• Develop and deliver the annual strategic sourcing plan and benefits initiatives, including stakeholder management.
• Plan and execute new sourcing or annual negotiations, including signing off according to requirements and delegated authorities. Capture outcomes in formal documents such as contracts, SLAs, price books, etc.
• Set cost standards supporting budgeting and materials price variance analysis.

Senior Sourcing Manager Key Performance Indicators

• P&L savings, savings to budget, and cost avoidance; MPV reporting.
• Supplier compliance with scorecard metrics such as timely communication, response to quality issues, and OTIF performance.
• Maintain action trackers for self and key suppliers.
• Adhere to calendars for sourcing activities, projects, and meetings.
• Ensure supply continuity of procured items.
