Responsibilities

  • Works closely with the team lead to identify staffing needs for acquisitions; achieve team goals and will be accountable to team lead for metrics and status reporting.
  • Maintains the accuracy of the configuration management database and ensures compliance with Configuration and Asset Management processes and procedures.
  • Has a solid understanding of configuration management and ensures acquisition or process improvement initiatives account for this process.
  • Introduces the IT support organization to newly acquired organizations; coordinates the on-boarding of applications, IT services as well as the collection of asset inventory as required for the configuration database.
  • Accounts for leading/executing large scale process improvement initiatives and tool deployments for the service management teams.
  • Works to on-board non-acquisition services which utilize the IT physical infrastructure.
  • Coordinates, facilitates activities to ensure full understanding of service support requirements; and acceptance of support expectations for services monitored, and supported by the IT organization in compliance with defined practices and policies.
  • Works closely with team lead to ensure project initiatives are accounted for in team work schedules and ensures metrics and status reporting are completed as required.
  • Participates in the determination of team goals and is accountable for those related to technical projects.
  • Establishes work schedule for Service Management technical lead team based on BAU tasks, team goals and management priorities.
