Job Description

This is an opportunity to work onClimate Action 100+, one of PRI’s flagship projects and the largest collaborative investor initiative to date. It seeks to ensure the world’s largest corporate greenhouse gas emitters take necessary action on climate change.

Join a global and motivated Stewardship team that works to deliver substantial real change in our global economy, society and the environment. Stewardship is one of the most powerful mechanisms by which investors and their agents can contribute to the achievement of the PRI’s mission: the creation of a sustainable financial system which benefits the environment and society as a whole. The role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to work that will encourage and enable signatories of the PRI and partner networks to fully realise the potential of stewardship to drive real-world outcomes on climate change.

This role, formally titled ‘Senior Facilitator’, is designed to function like a Senior Programme Manager position at an organisation. The Senior Facilitator ensures that the operations of Climate Action 100+ run smoothly, implementing and supporting workflows to maximise the productivity of Climate Action 100+ working groups and the Steering Committee that govern the initiative.

The Senior Facilitator will work closely with and support key Network staff in managing the initiative-wide strategic priorities, facilitating relevant strategic discussions and enhancing collaboration across the initiative.

The role will report into the Network Staff Committee (NSC) through which the Network staff oversee the operations and strategic implementation of Climate Action 100+. The Senior Facilitator will acquire a global view of the different workstreams and working groups across the initiative to inform the NSC and facilitate their decision making at an initiative level. The role will also work closely with and support the Chair of the Steering Committee, which rotates on an annual basis.

The role will be as a shared member of staff for the Climate Action 100+ initiative, however is formally employed by PRI and line managed by the PRI’s Head of Stewardship, Climate Change.
