We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Storage Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in a wide range of storage technologies and systems, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a global team environment.

What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and manage storage solutions using IBM Storage Scale (GPFS), Storage Protect (TSM), Spectrum Archive, Dell/EMC PowerScale (Isilon), Unity, PowerVault, Brocade and Cisco SAN switches, IBM V7000 and tape libraries, and NetBackup.
• Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability of storage systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate storage solutions with Linux, Windows, VMware and AWS environments.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering their professional growth.
• Document processes, procedures, and best practices, ensuring knowledge sharing across the team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex storage-related issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring data integrity.

What You'll Bring

• Extensive experience managing, supporting and troubleshooting: IBM Storage Scale (GPFS), Storage Protect (TSM), Spectrum Archive, Dell PowerScale (Isilon), Unity, PowerVault storage systems, Brocade and Cisco SAN switches, IBM V7000/V5000 storage systems, Veritas NetBackup
• Proficiency in Linux, Windows, and AWS environments
• Strong Bash and Python scripting skills, with a focus on automation
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana and Zabbix monitoring tools
• Experience with Docker
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work efficiently within a global team.
• Proven experience in mentoring junior team members.
• Effective documentation skills, with a focus on process and procedure standardization.
