Senior Structural Engineer

As part of our growth strategy, we are looking to appoint a Senior Structural Engineer based at our Leicester office. Join a supportive team where you will receive valuable training, guidance, and career development opportunities.

You will be involved in:

1. A wide range of projects across sectors including commercial, education, healthcare, defence, and infrastructure.

Your core duties will include:

• Ensuring high-quality technical delivery of projects
• Ensuring commercial success through effective project control
• Minimizing health and safety risks in all structural activities
• Supporting bids when required
• Enhancing Pick Everard's profile within the construction industry
• Supporting the growth within the discipline
• Working collaboratively within the discipline, wider team, and client base
• Mentoring junior engineers

About You

You will be committed to fostering a positive work culture, with a compassionate attitude and respect for others. To be considered, you must have:

• Excellent knowledge of Structural Engineering
• Experience with relevant design software
• Understanding of Eurocodes
• Robust health and safety awareness
• Clear and confident communication skills
• Good report writing skills

Desirable qualifications include:

• Chartered membership of ICE or IStructE
• Experience supporting junior team members
• Commitment to CPD activities
