Are you a Senior Structural Engineer who enjoys solving complex challenges and bringing ideas to life?

We’re looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join a London team that’s passionate about creating buildings and structures with purpose. You’ll be involved in a variety of projects, from footbridges and regeneration schemes to large-scale sustainable developments. The role is hybrid, with three days a week in the office, giving you a balance of collaboration and flexibility.

Why Join This Team

  • You’ll be part of a business that shares its success, reinvesting profits into projects that make a genuine difference.
  • You’ll get to work on landmark projects such as the London Velodrome, Chiswick Footbridge, and the Eden Project in Dundee.
  • Flexible working options are available, including hybrid arrangements and the chance to work a 9-day fortnight.
  • Benefits include medical cover, pension, life assurance, and cycle-to-work scheme.
  • You’ll join a friendly, supportive team where collaboration, sustainability, and learning are at the heart of the culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take the lead as a Senior Structural Engineer, managing projects or major parts of larger schemes from start to finish.
  • Support and mentor junior engineers, helping them grow in confidence and capability.
  • Develop practical and creative design solutions across steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
  • Work directly with clients, architects, and other consultants to turn ideas into reality.
  • Contribute to project planning, proposals, and the commercial side of consultancy.

What They’re Looking For

  • Chartered status (CEng, MICE, MIStructE) with at least 6 years’ experience.
  • Solid technical design skills, with the ability to work from first principles.
  • Experience using structural analysis software (GSA, SCIA, ETABS) and 3D modelling tools (Rhino, Grasshopper).
  • An interest in computational design, coding, or parametric modelling would be a plus.
  • A collaborative, proactive approach with a genuine interest in doing things differently.

This is a great opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer who wants to develop their career, make a real impact on projects, and work in an environment that values innovation and sustainability. If you’re ready for your next step, we’d love to hear from you.
