Senior Structural Engineer - Nottingham

Bennett & Game are pleased to be representing a well-established multi-disciplinary consultancy seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join their Civil & Structural team in Nottingham. Role Overview

  • Deliver and oversee structural engineering design from concept through to completion
  • Lead on multidisciplinary coordination and technical quality across varied building projects
  • Develop and review design briefs, specifications and reports to meet client expectations
  • Support the delivery of secure infrastructure, defence and aviation projects
  • Ensure designs meet regulatory, budgetary and programme requirements
  • Attend site meetings and contribute to pre-start and project coordination sessions
  • Provide mentorship and technical support to junior engineers
  • Support business development and assist with fee proposals when required

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Structural or Civil Engineering (MEng/BEng)
  • Working towards Chartership (IStructE or ICE) or chartered
  • Demonstrable experience delivering structural projects up to 10m in value
  • Proficient in design coordination and project delivery within a consultancy setting
  • Strong understanding of building construction, Building Regulations and allied legislation
  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Eligible for or able to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC) due to project nature
