As a Structural Project Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering structural engineering design and project management support across a diverse range of projects. You'll work closely with internal design teams and external stakeholders to provide efficient, safe, and innovative structural solutions from concept through to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake structural design calculations and prepare drawings, specifications, and technical reports
  • Deliver detailed designs for steel, concrete, timber, and composite structures in line with current design codes and standards
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, architectural, and MEP engineers to ensure cohesive project delivery
  • Manage project deliverables, budgets, and timelines, ensuring high-quality outputs
  • Attend design and site meetings, providing input during all project stages including feasibility, detailed design, and construction
  • Support junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team
  • Promote best practice in sustainability, digital engineering, and health and safety

About You

  • Degree‑qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering (MEng or BEng)
  • Chartered (MIStructE or MICE) or working towards chartership
  • Strong technical capability with experience in design software such as Tekla Structural Designer, TEDDS, or similar
  • Knowledge of UK and Eurocode design standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, organised, and committed to high standards of work
