Senior Supply Chain Manager

New Today

Overview

THIS is a high-growth, VC-backed emerging leader in producing plant-based food. Meat-alternatives, to be exact. Our products lead the plant-based sector in taste, texture and appearance. Since our launch in June 2019, the company has experienced significant revenue growth, and in 2023 topped The Grocer and Alantra’s annual Fast 50 list for two-year sales growth. We aim to be the number 1 plant-based brand in the UK and beyond.

At our core, our vision is to have a world where animals aren’t food and the environment is protected.

Our mission: “We will lead a revolution with our ridiculously delicious and nutritious plant-based food.”

What’s with this role?

We have a role available as Senior Supply Manager with the Operations team reporting to the Operations Director. You’ll join a dedicated, close-knit team that’s always learning, tackling challenges head-on, and building the systems that form a rock-solid foundation for our business so that when someone reaches for one of our products, it’s exactly where it should be.

What you’ll be getting up to

You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our supply partners deliver the products our customers love—right when and where they need them. Here’s what that looks like in practice:

  • Supply Planning & Forecasting
Take ownership of forecasting to ensure we have the right ingredients, packaging, and production capacity in place across our manufacturing sites. This enables us to meet demand and manage stock levels and cash flow effectively.
  • Inventory Management
Own the process for tracking stock across all storage locations, proactively identifying and resolving shortages or write-offs before they become issues.
  • Innovation Delivery
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to successfully launch new products into our supply network.
  • S&OP Leadership
Lead the Supply element of our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle and represent its outputs to the wider business.
  • Team Leadership
Foster and drive a positive, high-performing culture within the Supply and broader Operations team.

What we’re looking for

  • End-to-end understanding of FMCG supply chain (ideally in Chilled)
  • 3+ years in FMCG Operations with strong understanding of 3rd party supplier relationships
  • Strong problem-solving skills and numerical aptitude
  • Comfort with Excel and building relationships with partners
  • Experience in a high-growth company with associated challenges and wins
  • Management experience

Alignment with our values

  • Be Kind: We actively support and include each other, are honest and give feedback, are considerate and act with love and trust, have fun, and look after the planet.
  • Be Brave: We’re adaptable, resilient, driven with a growth mindset; we think creatively, speak up, and adjust course as needed.
  • Be Focused: We drive toward the mission, make sustainable decisions, and own our roles.
  • Be Passionate: We’re ambassadors of our products, purpose-led, and aware of our impact; we champion our brand.

From our side

  • A competitive salary that fairly recognises experience and potential.
  • 25 days paid Holiday, plus 8 bank holidays, plus 1 paid Wellbeing Day per month (total 45 paid days off per year).
  • Hybrid working – 3 days in the office (Tues, Wed, Thu)
  • Flexible working hours – focus on delivery over strict hours
  • Private healthcare
  • Life assurance
  • Mental health support with Spill (mental health resources and free therapy sessions)
  • Access to Freebie Freezer to eat THIS products

The chance to have a meaningful impact

As a relatively small but growing team, you’ll be exposed to challenges and projects at all levels of the business. A good idea is a good idea, regardless of who proposes it.

We’d love to hear from you, so please apply with your CV. Note that applications will be reviewed W/C 22nd September 2025 due to leave in the business.
