Senior Supply Chain Planner

Global FMCG manufacturing business require a Senior Supply Chain Planner to lead supply planning and supplier management activities. Applicants need supply chain planning or supply planning expertise, ideally gained in a large matrix environment.

The Senior Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for supply planning and supplier management activities with an assigned group of vendors and subcontract manufacturing partners. Planning the flow of products internationally into the UK and Europe, the Senior Supply Chain Planner will collaborate with 3PL partners and supply chain colleagues.

Specific duties of the Senior Supply Chain Planner include:

Communicate forecasts and demand plans to suppliers
Manage relationships with suppliers and 3rd party manufacturing providers
Drive efficiencies in the flow of product from the Far East into UK and European locations
Supply Planning, Materials Planning and Capacity Planning
Use supply chain data to drive efficiencies and insights to improve processes

Senior Supply Chain Planner applicants should meet the following criteria:

End-to-End supply chain planning experience, ideally within a large manufacturing or FMCG business
Expertise in supply planning, materials planning and supplier management would be highly advantageous
Experience using MRP/ERP, demand planning, forecasting or supply planning tools - AX, SAP, Oracle etc.
Concise and cogent communication style
Comfortable with hybrid working and operating within a global team
