An exciting opportunity has arisen for a contract/permanent position as Senior Surveyor in West London, covering Kensington and Chelsea patches with a Local Authority.

*** 2 days compulsory office, and the rest of the week to be spent between home and site visits ***

Main Objectives:

1. The Repairs Maintenance Surveyor plays a key role in the repairs team, providing housing and community services for residents of the Borough.
2. The surveyor ensures high standards and efficient use of materials, offering technical advice, conducting pre and post-inspections, quality and cost checks, asbestos management surveys, CDM regulation compliance, and void specification assessments.
3. The role involves feedback to teams on findings, opportunities for quality enhancement, cost-effectiveness, and durability, handling complex cases.
4. The team collaborates with residents and associations to develop housing services and community development.
5. The surveyor manages maintenance, minor, and capital works projects for the local community.
6. Additionally, liaising with social, health, police, youth, education services, and voluntary sectors to support community needs.
