Fixed Term Senior Sustainability Manager
Reed Talent Solutions is proud to partner with London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) to recruit a Senior Sustainability Manager for a 9-month fixed-term contract (4 days/week). This is a fantastic opportunity to lead sustainability efforts across Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park (QEOP).
This role is pivotal in delivering LLDC’s Climate Action Strategy, with a strong focus on sustainable development in the built environment. We are looking for someone with deep technical expertise in net zero carbon and science-based targets (1.5°C). Experience with Heating Networks is a bonus!
Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Sustainability in delivering the Climate Action Strategy.
- Advise across the development pipeline to ensure sustainability targets are met.
- Monitor and report on sustainability KPIs.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive sustainable outcomes.
- Lead feasibility work for decarbonisation projects (e.g., District Heating Network).
- Represent LLDC in industry working groups and policy discussions.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in sustainability within the built environment (construction).
- Strong technical knowledge of net zero and climate science targets.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience in policy, planning, and sustainability strategy execution.
- Project management proficiency with a sustainability focus.
