The role: We seek an experienced financial services professional with outstanding technical knowledge to join our Standard Life Retail Intermediary business. The successful candidate will lead external technical engagement with financial advisers, providing guidance on pensions, tax, trusts, and regulatory affairs. They will work closely with our Business Development team, visiting firms across the UK, and representing Standard Life at external events to support our growth ambitions.

What are we looking for?

• Excellent technical knowledge of pensions, tax, trusts, and regulatory affairs, with the ability to apply this knowledge to support financial advisers.
• Experience in confidently presenting complex technical information to financial advisers at seminars and meetings across the UK.
• Ability to develop and deliver engaging presentations and training sessions, collaborating with internal teams like Marketing and Proposition.
• Ability to build relationships with influencers and decision-makers, generating new business leads.
• Contribute to the growth of the Retail Intermediary trading channel.
• Professional qualifications such as Chartered Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA), or equivalent.
