Overview

In the role of Sr Technology Architect / Senior Technology Architect, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will create Architecture and high level design artifacts, conduct technical feasibility studies, and identify smart ways to complete client requirements. You will guide the team technically and work closely with an offshore team, acting as a communication medium between the client and offshore. Responsibilities

  • Devising compelling proposals, from concept and business benefit statements (e.g. presentations) to Statements of Work (SoWs).
  • Provide advice on industry best practices and implementations in other accounts in a solution-agnostic manner.
  • Continued architectural oversight of a portfolio of inflight projects; provide technical leadership during major incidents/outages when needed.
  • Create guiding principles and solution success criteria for platform capability or feature development across platforms.
  • Act as an escalation point for hybrid cloud infrastructure risks and issues and define mitigation approaches.
  • Own and lead hybrid cloud solutions—formulating and driving end-to-end enterprise cloud transformation life cycle stages (Analyze, Define, Build, Migration strategy, and Operate).
  • Relationship building with senior IT executives in large or strategic accounts; manage stakeholder relationships to achieve consensus on solutions/projects.
  • Evaluate demand against key constraints (financial, resources, concentration) and surface risks affecting delivery of priorities.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to consult on strategic direction and requirements, informing recommendations and horizon planning.
  • Define cloud migration and modernization strategy, including migration patterns, modernization of legacy infrastructure with containers and Kubernetes, modernization of data and databases, integration platforms, and cloud-native tools.
  • Operate effectively in a technically complex and fast-changing environment and respond to deadline-driven situations.
  • Work with partners and different practice teams to summarize the solution and the associated bill of materials.
  • Understand the commercial construct for proposed solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) across private, public, and edge clouds.

Qualifications

  • TOGAF Certified Enterprise Architect is desired.
  • Cloud and data centre technologies certification.
