Our eCommerce platforms have grown over the past decade to become one of the UK’s largest online retail platforms, serving over 70 international markets with a personalized shopping experience for 6 million active customers. The eCommerce department is the largest at Next, covering development, testing, support, and architecture across multiple sites and countries.

You will join one of the largest QA teams in the country, comprising manual and automation testers, developers, and product managers, all focused on delivering high-quality functionality for our UK and international sites.

About the Role:

We seek a skilled Senior Test Analyst to help drive our eCommerce testing efforts. You will have extensive experience in both manual and automation testing, implementing test strategies across web and mobile applications. Your work will involve developing automation frameworks from scratch, working with various tools, and ensuring comprehensive test coverage. You will also collaborate on functional, non-functional, security, and API testing.

About You:

• Extensive experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, C#, Visual Studio, NUnit, Playwright, Cypress, and SpecFlow.
• Knowledge of other programming languages like Java or Python is a plus.
• Experience with test automation frameworks at different levels of the tech stack.
• Ability to assess test coverage using automated tools.
• CI/CD experience is desirable.
• Experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks for Web, APIs, and Microservices.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies like BDD and TDD.
• Proven experience creating and maintaining automated C# test suites.
• Experience with BI or database testing is advantageous.
• Strong team player with proactive learning and sharing attitude.
• Deep understanding of core programming fundamentals, preferably from a developer background.

Technical skills required include Selenium WebDriver, Appium, C#, .NET, MS SQL, API testing, Azure DevOps, Gherkin, Cucumber, BDD, ISTQB/ISEB, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and Rest Assured.
